The City of Chicago today announced the launch of its 2010 Facade Rebate Program, which offers rebates to eligible commercial and industrial businesses and property owners who complete qualified facade rehabilitation projects. EXTENDED ENTRY: An eligible “facade” is the front face or elevation of the building, which typically faces the street and contains windows and the principal entrance to the building. Applications for funds are due by 4 PM on Friday, July 30, 2010. Applications should be sent to Dionne Baux, Chicago Department of Community Development, 121 N. LaSalle Room 1006, Chicago, IL 60602.
